The Amir of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Mudashir Dipo Teniola has said that Ramadan is a time to foster spirituality, deepen brotherhood and togetherness.
Teniola made this known on Thursday, March 21 during the annual Ramadan lecture themed ‘Youth and the Desired Change’ that was held in the school auditorium.
According to him, the preaching served as a time to educate both Muslim faithfuls and the public on the significance of adopting good behavioural attitudes.
The final year student encouraged the audience to embrace spirituality in order to inherit the blessings of Allah.
He also advised the students to ensure that they observe the Ramadan fasting and attend all prayer meetings for spiritual growth and closeness to Allah.
The teaching had high profile members of the school management and students across various classes in attendance.
Meanwhile, the students commended the MSSN NIJ chapter for their commitment and dedication to preaching the words of the Almighty in kind gestures.
