The Chairman of the organizing committee for the students’ week of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism tagged ‘Loud Am 2024’, Daniel Efeurhobo, known as Claridan, has labelled the event a success despite numerous challenges.
Speaking in an interview with Kehinde Rufai, Claridan counted his blessings as he gave details of the event.
He noted that organizing the event was challenging but opened his eyes to many areas of leadership and problem-solving abilities.
He said: “Loud Am 2024 was a huge success, though it rained almost all through the week, I am glad we could carry on with the activities successfully. Only the sports day was fully affected as the school field was flooded. We had to move the football finals to another day.
“Nevertheless, I thank God we could do more than what was expected. It was loud just as the theme implies.”
The NIJ Students Week is a lecture free week where students get to unwind and have fun, participating in various activities such as the NIJ Got Talent Competition, Cultural Day, Sports Day, Pageantry, Concert and Dinner.
