These exams are a pivotal moment for students enrolled in various programs at the institute, testing their proficiency in journalistic skills and knowledge.

Preparations on campus are in full swing as students engage in rigorous study sessions, attend review classes, and seek guidance from faculty members. Faculty members, known for their expertise and dedication, are actively supporting students through consultations and providing valuable insights to enhance their exam readiness.

Commenting on the significance of these upcoming exams, Mr. Jide Johnson (PhD), a senior lecturer at NIJ, remarked, “The second semester exams at NIJ represent a culmination of hard work and dedication for our students. It’s a time when they can demonstrate their understanding of journalistic principles and their readiness to contribute to the media industry.”

Despite challenges posed by the global pandemic, NIJ has adapted its teaching methods to ensure continuity of education. The institute has embraced hybrid learning models, combining online lectures with on-campus activities, to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience.

As the exam date approaches, NIJ remains committed to upholding its standards of academic excellence and fostering a supportive learning environment for all students. The institute looks forward to witnessing the achievements of its students and their future contributions to the field of journalism.

NIJ needs to better. For most of the lectures, especially weekends part-timers, it is one party/function or another, going on in the school premises. The environment IS NOT CONDUCIVE for learning at all. Electricity availability is another issue that should be totally unheard of.
