Publisher launches journalism books March 25

The publisher of YES International Magazine, Mr. Azuh Arinze will be launching two journalism related books on Monday, March 25.

The books titled ‘Anything and Everything Journalism’ and ‘My Story of Many Colours’ will be launched at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to Arinze who announced the completion of the books in a Facebook post, the first book tagged the “Bible of journalism” is dedicated to late Nigerian veteran journalists, Dele Giwa (Editor and founder of Newswatch magazine) and Dimba Igwe (Associate publisher of Entertainment weekly newspaper and media administrator).

“Other than containing all the things you’ve ever wanted to know about the noble profession, accomplished practitioners like Segun Osoba, Ray Ekpu, Bayo Onanuga, Mike Awoyinfa, Dele Momodu, Femi Adesina, Reuben Abati, Olusegun Adeniyi, Azu Ishiekwene, Simon Kolawole, Ikechukwu Amaechi, Musikilu Mojeed, Dotun Oladipo, Dare Babarinsa, Lekan Otufodunrin, Lanre Idowu, Louis Odion, Eze Anaba, Christopher Isiguzo, Gbenga Adefaye, Ali M Ali, Gbenga Omotoso, Funke Egbemode, Bisi Olatilo, Soni Irabor, Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Femi Sowoolu, Bimbo Oloyede, Seye Kehinde, Kunle Bakare, Shola Oshunkeye, Ibim Semenitari, Steve Ayorinde, Larry Izamoje, Femi Akintunde-Johnson, Mayor Akinpelu, etc shared the stories of how they rose to the top and have continued to sustain their relevance,” he revealed.

The journalist disclosed that the second book parades his encounter with heavyweights like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mr. Peter Obi, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, Senator Ken Nnamani, Senator Aminu Tambuwal, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, Chief Michael Olawale-Cole, Mrs Ifueko Omoigui-Okauru, Chief Michael Omolayole and a host of others.

He revealed that he will be sharing some of the things to know about the books with the public beginning from today till the presentation day.

The publisher also mentioned that the books are available for preorder by logging on to www.theyesng.com and a click on BOOKS.

Before his recent accomplishments, Arinze, who doubles as the Editor-in-Chief of the news outlet has written a business success book titled “The CEO’s Bible”.
